Laramie grill question

Hoping someone has some knowledge here. My Laramie has the chrome grill with the horizontal chrome slats. it looks like the chrome slats are a cover that can be removed. I don't want to pry them off and break everything or have it just look dumb underneath. Does anyone know if they are just clipped on? Or taped, or just look like they can be removed but actually can't lol

I would suspect they are bonded on, and not removable. But I can't say for sure. The Laramie I had also had the black grill from the Sport Appearance package. And I haven't seen the chrome ones in person.

I am guessing ... that they come apart

The cover that hides the hood latch, Grille Shutters, etc. is held on with plastic rivets
Those plastic rivets scratch & break easily, there is a special rivet tool that you may want to look up & possibly get.

Once you remove the grille, lay it face down & look for the clips & possibly small nuts that hold it together
