Laramie has “gold” trim?

I hated that thing! Took it off asap and plastidip to the rescue.

were you able to separate the chrome / gold trim surround? I was thinking of dipping or paining but kinda wanted those pieces separate...

No gold in my Laramie. Mine has kind of a shiny textured black finish.

Its in my 2015 longhorn with the dark brown interior with tan door panels and looks fantastic.

The gold trim on the dash and console matches the entire upper half of the Interior, the whole headliner is "gold"... and also matches the gold trim piping around the seats and head rests.
I can see where this could snowball into replacing ALOT of "gold" trim.

I do not have the higher trim, just lowly BH on MY 19. But I put a Black dash cover on the dash. The tan brown interior on the dash would reflect "everything" onto the windshield, a monster PITA.

When I first saw this post I thought before I respond I need to take a look at what I have. Well thanks for bringing it up. I now remember when I got the truck thinking (and the wife commenting) how ugly that was. After a couple of years I have forgot about it, now when I get in the truck I see that ugly gold trim. Thanks I appreciate it
