Nebie Here. I am looking to purchase a 1015-16 Laramie. I spoke to a dealer over the phone about a Laramie on their lot and he informed me this particular truck didn't have nav. I thought Nav was standard on the Laramie Trim. It is a 3.6 L. Am I missing something about the Laramie trim?

Which brings me to my next question: I've seen some Laramies with push button start and some with standard key start. What options package create these differences?

Thanks for any input.

The 8.4a radio is standard on the Laramie, which does not have navigation, but is nav-ready. You can purchase the navigation to be added to the radio from the dealer for something like $400.

The 8.4an is the optional radio which has factory navigation.

And I think the convenience package adds push-button start.

I ordered my 2015 Laramie and nav. was an option that I didn't want so my truck doesn't have it. Every one has a smart phone with goggle maps etc. If things get really crazy I also have a paper atlas.

I have the Laramie with the 8.4 stereo also. As the others said, NAV is an option. I had my dealer throw it in for free as part of the deal. I know all smart phones have a NAV APP but it is easier for me to look at the large screen in my truck and have the audible prompts thru my speakers than look down at my phone's smaller screen.

Work a deal and have them throw it in. If you are looking at a 2016 they may be willing to work a deal because the 2017 are in and they need the room. IMHO

I have the 8.4an and, other than having Navigation, it also has HD radio....which sounds fantastic.
