5 years, 40,000 miles and tons of fun. Sold my ‘17 today. Loved everything about it. It was a pure old school truck.

New unit is a big horn CC 6’4. Hurricane with the L2 and tow package. It’s way fancier than I planned, but trust me, it’s going to get used. Never been a 5th gen guy, but this one caught my eye.

On the list:
Bedliner (scheduled)
Bak X4S (ordered from @Nick@GotExhaust !)
Screen protector
Waxoyl undercoating
Front PPF

Some may call it blasphemy, but it will end up with a plow on it too for light duty home use.

Any additional must-haves for the 5th gens? I plan on getting some additional storage under the rear seats, who knows!

Glass screen cover, BAK X4S and spray in bed liner installed. Thanks again to @Nick@GotExhaust for shipping it out super fast!

Next up will be Waxoyl undercoating and a 5-year ceramic coating. Skipping the PPF.

Also found a full coverage back seat cover to protect for the doggo. My only gripe is that the middle seat belt doesn’t have a way to come out…. If 3 people are in the back I’ll have to fold it down.

Big fan of the pockets on the front to hold kid stuff!

Challenges so far:
-With the all weather rubber mats, the in-floor storage buckets are covered. I’m contemplating what the best solution is for storage back there.
I keep ratchet straps, tow straps & D rings, and jumper cables in which always come in handy.
-All pockets are already collecting dust/debris. I have a microfiber towel, but the all black interior loves to collect it. I do miss my two-tone interior from the ‘17

825 miles in and I’m really enjoying the truck. No towing yet, but I will soon enough. Definitely miss the hemi rumble, but so far this hurricane feels competent. Smoother than my wife’s ecoboost.

Still baby miles, just getting broken in.

I got my '15 in Sept. of '17 with 28k, I put 190k on it myself.
