Latest Uconnect update / maps

So out of curiosity I just recently received the update for my Uconnect 14 inch screen for Uconnect five in my route 1500 2025 sport 3.0L I–6 Hurricane.

So my main question would be I wanted to see the release notes for the update and it just said error receiving release notes and then went on its way.

Where can you find these release notes back when I had a Ford whenever there was an update, you could go to the website and you’ll be able to see what was in an update or it would just show up on the screen.

Why do they make it so hard to even find the release notes in the Uconnect system?
With this update, I did receive finally the ventilation option in my RAM app, and to be able to see my latest trips that I have taken.


And another question would be has anyone had issues updating their Tom Tom navigation.
I’ve been able to connect to Wi-Fi. I watched it complete the download but every time I turn the truck on and off it’s still probably me saying that there’s a navigation update.

So this is a two-part question, but I would really like to know if there’s any way to actually make this system function.

And has anybody received the update for your mobile phone to be used as a key?

Is that Apple app? I dont have ventilation ON option. But I have the 8.4 and still have the internet/wifi.

Somebody running U Conn 5 gonna have to chime in. I am running U Conn 4 plain jane, no help to the OP.

With respect to the TomTom map update, I go here:

https://stellantis.navshop.com/

and download the latest update. I copy it to an NTFS formatted USB drive and then insert it into a USB slot in my truck. It takes about 30+ minutes to do
the update and the truck needs to remain on.

If you're turning your truck off when the download completes that likely prevents the update from proceeding.

Yes the Ram app but you do require to be set up with ram plus plus service for the update

It basically erased everything so that I had to re-download again from the computer to the USB then I was able to do the update which took a good half an hour Truck running it said that the update was complete, which was fine but whatever is on the website that we download from that’s still old. I still requires an update over the air or via Wi-Fi.

And it still prompt me for updates for the navigation and I connected it to Wi-Fi. I leave it connected and it’s just a circle with a pause button in the middle.

I’ve never turned it off when I was using the USB so I was able to complete but updating has been just obnoxious

I agree the update process is obnoxious. I've done it 3 times in 2025 as the updates were released. I've never received a message about needing an
additional update after. Must be another feature some "lucky" few get! I'm enjoying my 2025 Limited, but some of the strange software behavior makes
me shake my head and question if there is any change control at all...
