Just installed an air lift load lifter 5000 and the air line is leaking at the push to connect air line fitting. It is not the air line itself but the fitting that is leaking. Until I can get a new fitting in to replace the defective one, does anyone know any way to seal the fitting until it comes in. This is where it is leaking.80d52bc339930406b34a8f0c3a0ef4a1.jpg

Try releasing the air line, check to make sure the line is smooth with no burrs and reinstall. If that doesn't work then maybe take it apart again and pour some dish soap in and on the fitting and line and put it back together. Other than that I would say new fitting.

I put a 90 degree elbow on mine today. It had a leak. Pulled the line out of the manifold and made sure the air lines were cut straight as possible. Re-inserted, air'd the air springs up to 80psi and checked. I made sure all the air lines were pushed in flush. I think you might have to air your system up as much as is allowed and make sure the fittings "seat" to make sure they don't leak. I also made sure the "release" part of the fitting is all the way out after making sure the air line is pushed all the way in. Worth a try.

I replaced the 90 and it works fine now. Only thing I can think it could be is a bad o ring on the fitting
