I recently took my truck back to the dealer to have the windshield resealed since we could feel air leaking at lower right corner. But after getting the truck back we discovered the leak was still there. It appears there is a leak in the firewall. Has anyone experienced this?

I6 hurricane so
I had exactly same sounding issue on my 2025 ram 1500. It's currently at the dealer, they confirmed today it's the seal around the HVAC (or lack of) and will replace it.

Hope this is the last time you have issues with it .

Thanks for returning with the diagnosis, so others may benefit from avoiding the dealer , for that matter.

If I remember correctly there was a similar issue back when the DT body first came out, think it was the early build '19s.
On the early build 2019's which I have, LF firewall below windshield. Mine is ok. I got an air leak front pax door just left as is lol since I am the only one in truck. Truck Neva been 100% air tight but not want dealer make worse. Bad enuf had entire dash and hvac removed due to bad evaporators they put in 1st built 2019s which I have.

I did have CHMSL and rear backlit replaced under extended warranty but not heard of those issues on any new truck 25 and on yet.

Thanks for all the feedback. My next move is another attempt at the dealership.
Have them check body weld seams below windshield

I have an appointment for 4/27 to have the hvac seal and the dash/windshield rubber seal replaced. That seal was not touching the windshield with a huge gap completely across the dash distance. I had to accelerate the problem up the ladder.

Thanks for the interest. The dealership replaced the HVAC seal on the firewall. It was found with a gap allowing an air leak. Also replaced was the rubber seal between the windshield and front of the dash. It was gapping across the whole distance before being replaced. I feel these problems were due to production and/or design failures. Or maybe the lack of training for workers to understand the proper basics and functions of the material being installed. How many thousands of trucks coming off the assembly lines have these issues?
