led bar

has anyone mounted an led bar on the chrome bumper with just the tow hook cut outs. i have a 40" curved it looks like it will fit just wondering how it will look

I couldn't. The brackets/bar hit the license plate. Iven if you did thats alot of leverage/stress on the plastic tow hook covers and it would be very bouncy and eventually break. Unless you mean to drill and mount to the chrome bumper...

i dont have the plate on the front so i was thinking about putting some sort of bracket behind the tow hook area

They sell light bar brackets that allow large light bars to be installed via brackets through the tow hook area (bolt to the tow hook braces).

those seem to be for the 2500 bumpers mine doesnt have the cut out in the middle

I wonder if it would be worth it - being the light is mounted so low.
