Led light bar

Does anyone have a led light bar in the front bumper or grill? Looking for ideas, I dont want to remove my tow hooks though..

I bought some "L" brackets that attach using the two inboard tow hook bolts. Take the tow hooks off, then hold bracket in place and put tow hooks back in place. Brackets are only 1/16" thick but did come with slightly longer bolts to use.

I got all the parts, just haven't done the job yet. Where I live temporarily, I can't work on a vehicle. Oh, I also have this to remove first. The grille guard also uses all the hole for the tow hooks. I'm already running eight longer bolts (1/4" longer).

Well, that didn't work. Phone app sucks. Just use that description and it'll pop up on Amazon.
The brackets are quite sturdy. I was surprise and happy about that.

Here's why I haven't done this yet. In an appartment temporarily. Lots of rules here.

I made some home made brackets and installed a 30" straight bar in mine. Have to make sure it's a true 30" (or less) at the ends because most 30" bars are actually 32" and they won't fit. My 30" barely fits in there

If you don't have the ability to fab your own brackets, Rough Country makes a set for about $40 that I used. Works perfectly and looks awesome. I have the dual row black series with Amber DRL in my lower grill between the tow hooks

30" brackets? When I looked at them they were only for a 20" bar I believe? These should work for a 30"? When I mounted mine no one had brackets for a 30" so I had to make them.

That's my bad. Yeah RC only has the 20 and 40 inch version.

I’ve got a 22in light bar inside of a Black Horse Armour bumper. It’s got cut outs for tow hooks and comes with mounting brackets for the light bar. I’m very happy with the fit and finish, great bumper

Not sold on light bars. They don't have the long distance throw like a god set of pencil beams. Seems to me all lightbars do is throw a huge blob of white light out front that kills your night vision so you can't see a thing beyond.
