LED Light Bulbs Help Needed

Hey everyone. First and foremost I am not a car guy by any stretch so please forgive me for asking basic questions. But we learn by asking questions right? I have a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L V8 Hemi 2wd. My revrse/backup lights suck big time. I can see very little if anything. And yes I have checked to make sure they are on. Can I simply replace bulbs in 3rd brake with LEDS? If so what are some of the brightest? I have done a little research and have found out they may throw a code. Any thoughts?

Try a Redline led light bar. Mounts between gate and bumper. Really lights up the situation. 24 bucks on ebay.
