I went the same route as sbarron...couldn't see worth a dam at night...my only problem is these are to bright for the camera...yes definitely better than without...easily throws light 130ft which is my driveway and backing up that far in pitch black sucks big time..definitely cured that...mirrors work super now at night.camera not so good..just to bright.
Just a cheap set I found on ebay..also did the convert to led for the taillights and 3r d light .that helped a little, wasn't enough for me so I hacked the bumper.

Hows the camera work with the bumper lights.Been tempted to do the same, but a little worried the camera won't be quite as good after dark.My wifes Challenger has bright reverse lights, and the back-up camera on it sucks after dark because of the light output from the reverse lights.

I replaced my stock reverse bulb with a modified 898 bulb, much more output.

Wild one....you can see in the camera but the lights do over power it...maybe better with just 1 light(although that would just look goofy..lol).it's hard to describe it...looks like a white-ish mass on the screen..can't see to far.I do love it for the mirrors though, can see all over the place..i'll snap a pic later tonite when I get home..maybe that will show better.

For my Ram I wanted light that was more of a wider pattern so I got these side shooter pods. I mounted them to my receiver hitch using a 2 3/4” muffler clamp as I didn’t want to cut up my painted bumper. These little lights kick ass for being able to see out my side mirrors.

Best thing about these is that they don’t interfere with the camera because they shoot the light far away enough that doesn’t stay right off the tail lamp bucket reflectors.
