Looks really good man... I had the same thing on my Hemi. I had mine wired up to my cargo light tho. So when I hit my unlock button they would come on...light up my truck when I was walking up to it. I'm gonna be doing the same thing to this truck when I get time.

Once again...great job man!

Thanks! I wanna get some more sets and put them under the bed rail, and those will be spliced into the cargo lights and a bed switch. It would be nice to have something like that but dont know how to do it besides the cargo light.....

If your wanting them to come on when you hit the unlock button the cargo is the best way to go man. I had mine like that for 2 years with 0 issues.

Only crappy thing is being in the bed you'll have to run it all the way up into you cab...I'm sure you wont want a wire going from your bed to your 3 brake light lol

What kind of halos do you have? They look too good. Did you run all led strips to one switch?

sadly they are the AAC dual color halos(red/white) All the little packs for the rock lights are on one switch. They say its a 20amp switch and the LEDs dont pull much current.

I used the 30 dollar set from autozone, max LEDs or something like that, they are stupid bright and haven't went out and I have had 6 sets for over 3 months, I was just on wondering if you could put clear silicone over them to make sure no water gets in thm and light output not be affected

They are made by alpena and sold at every local hardware store I have been to.But mine are the max led, not the flex because the max aren't on the Internet. Lol they came with a warning on them that if you stare into thm too long you could go blind:naughty:

Im very happy with the outcome and the price! Got the switches in the other day so besides some wire cleaning up they are ready to rock.

Also installed some white LEDs behind the grill. They are tide into the same controls as the halos so the flash and strobe along with them.

These switches are very cool. They have a little red LED in the tip and the switch guard is a clear red so it has a very cool glow when on.

I got 5 but only installed 4 for now.

I am currently in the process of installing Hella's behind my grill. I have 3everything wired up and running to the same place that you have your switches. I just dont know how to get inside of it to mount everything. I noticed that you have a knob to the left of your switches. I was just curious as to what it is for. Oh and where is a good place to look for a set of these rock lights? They could definitely help me.

These are "sunk" is some type of silicone or something like it. I dont know how well it would work. I guess you could get a small strip and try it but I would figure it would be easier and cheaper to get LEDs that are already waterproof. These ones are waterproof.

are you asking how I pulled the base console out? Sorry im not understanding.

The knob is for a trans line pressure booster. It fools the trans into thinking more throttle is applied then is, so the trans boosts the line pressure. It has 4 levels, off then 1-3. I have yet to get it to work.....

dealextreme is the only place ive bought them from but I found this other company. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT FROM THEM NOR DO I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM, BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

However they do have paypal so that makes me feel better. But I dont know what type of they are using or the exchange rate. They also dont offer free world wide shipping on the product page like DX does. Last I assume they get them from the same manufacturer, so they either still have stock left OR they are out like DX and not telling you on the product page like DX. DX will not even let you place an order at this point so I assume it will be a while till even DX gets them..... I dont know what to do myself.

Here is the site im ranting about. lol

oh and I did the math. If you have all 20 strung together they only pull 2.33 amps(28W/12v). So each unit only pulls .117 amps(2.33amps/20) so mine are only pulling 1.9(.117ampsX16) amps through my 20amp switch.

now you need to cut out the floorboards and install plexiglass so you can look down on the rocks ;)

that would be wicked! If it was a dedicated truck and not multipurpose I would look more into that.
