Question: I have a 2019 Ram Limited with the stock LED tail lights. The blinker on the driver's side is working intermittently. It will work fine some days and other days or trips it will not work and the dash will note it is not working. When it is not working it actually blinks very dim but you have to get real close to see it so its not safe. I removed the light and checked the connections and everything looks fine. I also swapped the passenger to the drivers side for a test and it worked fine. The fact that it works sometimes and not others has me wondering if it is the light or the wiring. Anybody else had this happen or have any ideas. The light itself is sealed so if its the light itself I will need to get a replacement light.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you have your answer, if the pass side tail assembly works OK while connected to the driver's side. Provided that you're confident about the wiring and connector integrity.

Mine has incandescent light housings, but from what I have heard, the OE LED housings are completely sealed and not serviceable.

Make sure you're sitting down when you receive the quote for an OE replacement.

This might be the time to check pricing on aftermarket taillights.

If it were me, I would investigate repairing the failing light assembly, but chances are they filled it with epoxy, which will make disassembly impossible or a huge PITA.

You were on the correct path looking at the connections. I had a 2014 JKU with incandescent bulbs. Mine would say right rear turn signal is out, right after starting it up. I took th bulb out tested it with a VOM, and it was fine. I put it in my truck and it worked fine. I put back in the JKU and it worked for a few days and did it again. My thinking is the CanBus checks for a certain resistance form the light. If it is right all is good, if is to high it will not send any voltage to it. I brought it to the dealer, which is another story.

I would use a good contact cleaner on the light that is not working, make sure the pins are tight in the socket. Have you checked the drivers on the passenger side to see if it works?

If it is really bad Recon Has some good pricing on aftermarket tail lights.

I had a similiar issue. Unplugged the light, cleaned both sides of the plug real well, then filled both sides with headlight grease...haven't had an issue since.

I had my right rear tail light OEM assembly replaced under warranty. The fixtures OEM were $568.00 and that was a few years ago. There was an issue on the rear fixtures where there were cracks in the lens allowing water intrusion. Not know how many affected units but mine was. I gorilla glued the cracks till able to get replaced. Just my personal experience.

Thanks for all the feedback! Darn thing has been working for a week with no problems. I will try sealing around it while it is dry weather. I didn't see any condensation in it but maybe its deep inside. Hard to trouble shoot when it works off and on. I used electrical cleaner on the terminals but that did not seem to make a difference. Nothing looks dirty or damaged on the light itself. One day it was working at a turn and then quit mid turn. Weird. I did look at the OEM price and if it gets replaced I'm looking at a knock off brand due to the price....yikes! Won't say Ram in raised letters but nobody will notice but me since it does not light up. I did try the other side and it worked fine but the off and on with the original doesn't mean the other side wouldn't eventually have a problem too.

My 2019 limited is doing the same. Intermittently not working and alerts on dash. I removed the light and was surprised that they are not serviceable. Was also surprised that it was full of water. Going to empty it, let it dry and attempt to seal it hoping that will help. I doubt it will last long. Any recommendations for aftermarket replacements?
