2021 Tail Lights

I have a 2021 Laramie and wanted to update the tail lights to led like I did on the 3rd brake light. When I removed the assembly there is not twist out for the bulbs. Apparently the bulbs are internal. I suppose I literally have to replace the entire tail light assembly on both sides or is there some secret to opening them?

To replace tail light bulbs on a 2021 Ram 1500, remove the two T-25 Torx screws on the inside of the tailgate opening, pull the assembly straight back, and twist the bulb sockets counterclockwise. Standard bulbs are generally 7440/7443, though some models may require full assembly replacement

If there is no bulbs externally to twist out from the back and there is no removable covers (usually will have screws), then yes the taillights are sealed and they are already LEDs. The OEM LED taillights have a square wiring plug.
