LED Turn Signal Questions

I've run into a question looking at LED turn signals for the headlights (bulb 3157). Not sure if it matters but I have the quad lights. Do they all need a resistor or only the switchback LED's? Is the bulb already in there double filament? I didn't notice when I had the headlights out, but do the front turn signals have the 3 wires? Thanks for any help.

Yes they have 3 wires. If you run the switch backs from JJ, he supplies a resistor that taps into the hot signal wire to the frame.

Works flawlessly.

My '10 didn't need resistors for hyperflashing. I got lucky I guess. But yeah, our switchbacks - we provide them. I'd rather give you too much **** than not enough!

Weird... mine did. I had a bad connection with the line taps at first. I tracked it down before I installed the lights into position and corrected it.

With it not connection, mine did hyper flash. Wonder why your 2010 was fine and mine hyper flashed?

Oh well, it was an easy fix and the switch backs are working great.

Save yourself some headaches and go towards Retroshop. He might even be able to get you some different color... but anything different than white or amber will get you pulled over here.
