2020 Ram Laramie 5.7 full stock. Keep getting Stored Message "Left Rear Turn Signal out". Disconnect battery, message goes away for a day or so. Both rear turn signals work fine. Any ideas where to look?

I had a Jeep that did that. I took the bulb out cleaned it, and it started to work for a few days. When it happened again I took it to the dealer, and they said it was an intermittent bulb. Replaced it and it never happened again.

Mine was an incandescent bulb, two sticks of wire with a piece of tungsten wire between them. There is no way it would be intermittent, it would be broke or not broke.

It is the CAN bus that goes out reads the resistance of the bulb, if it is to high it triggers turn signal out. If yours is a regular bulb the only fix is to replace the bulb. The engineer that designed this should have been fired a long time ago.

Had this happen to me on my front left turn signal and it was an internal and intermittent short. They replaced the LED headlight assembly and no more problems.

Don't know if this is applicable but my '16 longhorn laramie right turn signal would periodically throw a message at start up. Bulb & signal was fine. I found out on a forum that my 3rd brake light was the problem. They were correct, bad wire connection.
