Truck 2017 1500, fully stock configuration.

I am getting intermittent notifications that the right rear (RR) turn signal is not working. However, stopping the truck and looking at both the left and right sides for comparison, they both work the same. I pull the right rear off the truck, and standing there with it on I can see no issues. There is no visible water damage, loose wires etc. at the RR signal itself.

When the notification comes on, you can hear it clicking rapidly from within the dashboard.

What should I replace first? Any help, suggestions much appreciated.

Thank you
SOTAR

“In the old days, it was just a round gray relay, diameter of a quarter 1” tall or so in the fuse box.” Old-days are gone.

Check your CHMSL light, high post stop light top of cab rear. (CHMSL = Center High Mounted Stop Light). You will get a rear light out for the CHMSL not working also, especially if you checked and see all other working.
