So I've been putting together. A list of parts/maint stuff to do before the cross country trip. I have about 50k on the clock. Old trucks went at 60k. And my buddies carrier bearing on his drive shaft (2010 cummins) went last night. So that kinda did it for me. I want to replace mine before I leave hear. From what I hear spicer makes the best. But I can only find part numbers. And can't search by truck. It's a 2012 express quad cab 4x4 Any one tackled this project yet. Or have a way to find out which ones I need.

If I was in this situation I would check them and if they have no play I would leave them alone. However if I felt the need to do them just because I would order oem u joints. But that's just me

Spicer is OEM I believe it seemed to be for my 09. Let me look up the Spicer number I used you could see if it is right for the newer ones.

Spicer 5-1350X

Got mine from Northern Drivetrain there was a lot of vibration through the pedal on mine so we replaced them seemed to help.
