Is it possible to do a leveling kit and a suspension/body lift? Or if I get a leveling kit would I not be able to get either of those lifts? Or could it work getting either of those lifts and then getting a leveling kit after? I'm not sure if they could work together or if they have to be used on their own.

So if I get a 3 inch suspension lift on my 2wd and decide afterwards that I want to level it, that's possible for me to do?

Yup! I went the opposite of you, leveled mine now im doing a body lift.

not knowing much about the 2wd level and suspension lifts i won't comment on that....LOL

I do know that you can absolutely do a level kit and then a body lift. If you are going just for looks get a body lift it will save you a lot of money

It depends on the type of lift kit.
Short answer is you can NOT run a leveling kit with a suspension lift on a 2wd as they both lift the same way.
Using a 2" spacer ontop of a 3" lift spring will cause more problems then I can list

You can use a 2" spacer with a spindle lift, or like most kits you could use your 3" lift spring with a 4" spindle lift for 7" of "suspension" lift

You can use a body lift with a leveling spacer or a suspension lift

Yeah because a RC 3" suspension lift is only $355 with tax and some boots and a 3" body lift is more. Wouldn't the suspension be easier and cost less for installation too since it has way less parts???

What are you trying to accomplish? Do you want a little more ground clearance or do you want to fit bigger tires? If your just doing it to fit bigger tires, I would go body lift.
Honestly, both can be done in your driveway. I have done both a suspension lift and a body lift on my old truck. It would save you the money of paying someone to install it, and you will learn a little bit more about your truck than "right foot makes it go faster"

Just my .00000002 (accounting for inflation and conversion rate)

It is mainly to fit bigger tires but also because the RC suspension lift is cheaper. And to be brutally honest with you there is no way in hell I would be able to install either of those on my own. lol.

And why not? Take your time....It really is not a hard job...as a matter of fact, I have the same exact kit on order, and they sent it in two boxes....got the box with the shocks today...Will most likely have the kit on next weekend. Seriously man....do it yourself, save the money, and if you get stuck somewhere, post it up here....

This is my first truck so I am new to all of this and I have never really done any modifications to any vehicle before. I feel like i would mess something up if I tried to do it. Although, considering it doesn't have many parts so if I had some help I doubt it would take that long.

Rachet, sockets, rented spring compressor from Autozone along with a ball-joint fork, and maybe a hammer and some assorted wrenches.
