Is there any cutting required with the 1.5 body lift? I know with the 3” you have to modify the bumper brackets and extend the fan shroud, haven’t seen or heard anything about the 1.5”.

the only thing I have seen about cutting is something on the rear bumper. I'll have to read their install instructions for more detail.

Cool, I’ll pull the directions up too. I was curious to see what those that have done the install had to say about it.

well, the cutting isn't to major parts, like on a 4" suspension lift. There are a few bumper mount tabs that have to come off, some cutting on the rear bumper cover, and a few drilled things. Nothing terribly frightening.

Yes you have to notch out the bumper so it can clear the receiver hitch, nothing major, I used cutting wheel and painted after to prevent from rust. The bottom half of the fan shroud gets removed, and just a little bit of drilling up front to relocate the bumper and the rear bumper. If I remember all you do is once bumper is removed there is a hole already there with a guide pin, you hammer in the pin and drill it out to 1/2. So not really any measuring involved amd you dont jave to worry about it being off. It took me about 5 hours to install mine.

IMG_1102.JPG This is Bilsteins at 2.1, 3/4" rear spacer and zone 1.5" BL. I also have a PA 3" BL in the garage that will most likely replace the Zone 1.5" BL eventually.

I'm looking at the 1.5" body lift as well. I know the tips can be adjusted but I would like to see what the factory tow receiver looks like after the body lift. 1.5" doesn't seem like much but could be very noticeable.

I know I've seen pics of the receiver on a lifted truck. I'll see if I can find it
