Hello all, new member here and I have to say I am finding a lot of useful information from everyone posting in these forums, very cool. I have a question concerning leveling kits. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 manual transmission with 32" tires on 17" rims. I am looking to put 33" BFG All-Terrains on my truck and I want to level the front end. The rear of the truck looks like it will clear 33's with no problem but the front end looks like it definitely needs to be leveled. Any suggestions as to what type of leveling kit I should use. I have been looking around and can't seem to find one that will work for 2004, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Nope no Bilsteins on an 04. He's got torsion bars not coil overs. The Bilsteins only work on the 06+ trucks which is when the ditched the T-bars for coil overs.

On the 02-05's you can crank the torsion bars up which will effectively lift the front end but also make the ride stiffer. Also you want to make sure you turn each torsion bar up the same amount or the truck will not sit level side to side. I've personally never done the torsion bar level so I can't help much with the real technical end of it.

Cranking the torsion bars is pretty simple. Lots of DIY info out there. I would also suggest replacing the front shocks. After I cranked mine, My shocks were noisy as heck.

I agree.... Very easy to do. Along with new longer shocks you will want to have an alignment done. I've done a lot of trucks this way..
