I have an 06 ram 1500 2wd. Just bout a 3" level with 3" pro comp shocks off eBay from TopGunCustomz. Do I need/have to buy new springs? Since ill have that 3" spacer in there I didn't know if it would compress the spring to much or what.
Thanks,
Blake

I'm not entirely sure, but I have a little note you you to consider and ask whoever is installing it. I considered this 3 inch level kit as well. If it isn't to late, IMO you might want to return it and just go with a 3 in kit like I will be.

The reason I say this... I called Firestone and as them if they would install a 3 in leveling kit. They said they will not do any leveling kits over 1.5 inches. Their explanation... "There isn't enough adjustments with a leveling kit to properly align the front end."

I don't know how much of this is true, if at all, but for about the same price I can get a 3 inch lift kit

return your 3inch spacer, its way to big, especially if you have the bulky black steel upper control arms. you will here a big metal thump every time you go over a bump. ur safer going with a 3inch spindle lift
even if you have the aluminum looking upper control arm the 2.5 is the biggest you should go, a 3 inch will make aligning gard and the geometry angle will kill your ball joints

I have a 2005 Quad Cab and was looking into a 1 1/2" level spacer. I run the stock 20" rims and tires. I dont go off road, but I do tow. Any advise?

Also what have people used in the rear to keep rear end from sagging when towing after a leveling kit / spacers have been used?

add-a-leaf kits may give you a stiffer rear suspensions, so it wont sag as much.
I am not familiar with these kits so I'm not 100% sure

i have the 1.5 inch spacer with 20's and i do recomand new shocks it makes a differnce in look but you will still have the back end sticking up higher so even with a load the back wont look so saggy but if you like the add a leafs will work, theyll stiffin up the ride but a good shock will fix that, if you dont want to deal with new shocks and add a leafs then get air bags

How is the ride with the 2" is it really noticable. I am going to go with the monroe reflex so I wanted to go ahead and put the kit in at the same time.
