I am new to owning my "own" truck. I have had several jobs where i have been given a company vehicles to drive off road and to haul. my dad was recently killed and i bought a dodge that was pretty much identical to what he had in his memory. I bought the truck used at a wholesale. one issue I have come across is that the idiot before me put to wide of tires on the truck which has caused the tires to rub the frame. I do not want to put on bolt on wheel spacers because i do not want to chew up my bearings. I am a backyard mechanic and i do not know specifics on everything.

Im wondering what would be the best was to raise the truck 2" to clear the frame. I have been thinking about getting Coil springs that are 2" longer for the front but im not 100% what to do with the rear, spacers or add a leaf?

what other parts am I gonna need in order to make this work

without blowing up my wallet

I appreciate all help

Sorry to read about your loss.

A lift will not solve this problem you need new wheels with a different offset/backspace. About a 8" wide wheel with a backspace of 4.50" should take care of your problem.

If you did want to put a lift in though. I would say get the skyjacker 2.5In lift. It is bigger and better coils and an add a leaf. It costs around 250$
