so after doing a search and seeing some vague discussions i would love for somebody to give me some good insight on this.

Im considering a BDS 6 inch lift and running 35s. I completely comprehend that the warranty on the suspension will be out the window but what about the powertrain...specifically on the engine, trans and diff. if i were to have engine issues down the road whats the likelihood a dealer would blame the lift? im looking for some real world feedback. Ive always had lifted trucks and never an issue with powertrain warranty claims...but this is a new era and ive never dealt with a lifted ram.

TIA

Really it just depends on the dealer. Even with the MMW act dealers will still try and void your warranty (depends on dealer). Best advice I have ask your dealer what their opinion on it is. My dealer is pretty lenient about mods.

F*** the dealership and their "opinions", they get paid either way. Its so stupid how they pick and choose.

This is why I went with superlift (the same lift dealerships install, rebranded with Mopar).. I don't know about bds, but superlift has a great warranty that covers anything a dealership would deny, because of the lift. My opinion, if they warranty mopar, how stupid is it that they wouldn't warranty superlift? It's the exact same lift. Anyways, here's their warranty assurance program.

Most of the time from what I have seen, is it doesn't matter so much about the brand, but who installs it. If they ask do not say you installed it yourself lol. The right answer is by a reputable shop.

This is superlifts warranty. So it would have to be superlift (unless I'm misunderstanding you.).... It also doesn't matter if you installed in in your driveway, or by a dealership. Can't argue black and white text.

Hey man how is the super lift for quality? Im actually a couple days away from buying a kit. Cant decide beween bilsteins with springs in the rear, and maby a 1.5 inch body lift. Or Depending on cost and quality of this super lift i may just get that?
what would you reccomend?. And if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for super lift and install? and also did you have to buy any extra parts like shocks or anything> thanks

I have no complaints about the lift. I already had the bilstiens, so I ordered the kit without them ($1250 I think was the sale price)... It includes rear springs also.

I would recommend it .. Just have to make up your mind about 4 or 6 inch, have fun!

I had mine installed with alignment for $600.

Thanks wow thats a decent price. Im in canada though im sure ill be paying 1600 plus for just the kit. I think 6 is too much for my style, im sure gas mileage would be getting worse the higher you go right lol.
