So I have 52" LED bar on the way and will be mounting it this weekend. The question I have for the guys that are running the roof mount light bars is where are you running your power from the light into the cab? Specifically where about's on wire routing, I'm already not thrilled about drilling into my truck for the mounts, but i'm not putting the feet on my roof and I don't want extra holes for the wires. Looking for a "clean" look on the wire routing.

Any input on this is appreciated.

I would route the wire in the door rubber seal until you reach the bottom of the windshield and then through the cowl until it reaches one of the existing firewall entry point. Make sure it enters the firewall through a grommet to not damage the wire.

Also, as I have stated to another member just today, these light bars draw a lot of current and cannot be hooked up to the Headlights or Foglights relay. There are empty relay slots in the IPDM you can use to install a separate relay/fuse and wiring for those High current optional accessories.

Hope this helps

Appreciate the reply, that's the way I will route it. I didn't think about behind the windshield rubber, I have plenty of electrical experience as I work on electronics and electrical for a living. I was just trying to get an idea of where guys on here were running the wires from the light down and you made the best option for me.
