Stainless works or American racing? Which ones are easier to install? Where is cheapest place to purchase?

I have ARH long tubes. Quality built and fitment was great. Have the reputation to be the "best" long tube header for the 4 th gen trucks. They include everything you need for the installation including the 02 extensions. I don't think they are "cheap" anywhere. Most people I know buy from Moe's Performance, a preferred vendor on this site. If you decide to buy them you can PM me and I can give you a few "tips" about preparation before the install. I have no experience with the Stainless Works headers.

BOTH are great and install is pretty much the same. ARH does seem to be the favorite and has great fitment. we can offer you a great deal on either. Message me for a quote.

If you have the bug to go true dual X-pipe exhaust go stainless works. They take all the guess work out and provide with the LT's all the way back to the exhaust tips.

Very good point! If you want every last bit of power you can get from an exhaust an X pipe will net you a few more hp over a y pipe. SW makes a great kit with what they call the performance connect. That is an x pipe system that you must also buy their performance connect catback. Great overall setup. fitment, performance, and sound is all top notch as expected from Stainless Works!
