I have everything. Dash, Gauge cluster, Carpet, Steering Column, Wiring harness, Dash harness, Seats, Center Console, Radio, Steering Wheel, Door harness, EVERYTHING. Since This will replace the truck's harness, couldn't I just swap this in and it all work? The harness goes all the way to the front of the truck, plug's into the fuse box and into the rest of the engine harness. Has anyone done this yet? Plenty at the junkyard considering you could even use a 1500 Longhorn dash and such.

I’m aiming more for Limited with the beige and brown interior with Limited exterior, but it’s hard to find the rear door cards in beige and brown for a CC.

I think it’d work.

It will work if its from a a 2012 and lower, maybe a 2013 not quite sure on that.If its above that its not going to work.Seats will fit and you can add power to use basic power functions.Possible airbag error though.Gauge cluster and radio if above a 2013 probably won't work.Somebody will chime in to let you know for sure. Its all to do with modules and the bcm.

You will need to have the correct years to be compatible. 13 to 18 will Not work in an 09 to 12 and visa versa. Most people upgrade the 13 to 18 trucks so I'm not sure if there are variances between the 09 to 12 but I think the 12 might be different than the 09 to 11. If you are upgrading your truck with parts that are compatible to your year it can be done. I have a full functioning Laramie interior in my 14 Express including push button start with proximity entry. This is a common upgrade but there is much more to it than just trying to change the harness. You can install the harness and parts but you will also need to enable the codes in the BCM for all the functions to work with the Alfa OBD tool. Most people just purchase the heated/vented/memory seat conversion harness and 8.4 radio conversion harness from M2mods who is in the vendor section of the forum. His harnesses look factory and fit perfectly. It's a much easier and cleaner install than trying to replace your existing harness. Many people have had issues trying to do it that way because there are differences in other areas of the harness between the two trim levels. There are several posts on all these upgrades in the 4th gen D.I.Y section and in the Alfa thread. Another thing to note is some SLT trim level trucks have the correct wiring for the heated/vented seats from the factory. If your truck has one solid red wire and two pink wires with yellow stripes in the yellow drivers seat connector (13 to 18) only your truck already has the correct wiring.

My truck only is wired for the basic forward and backward motions. I have the dash out and carpet now. The only thing i'm doing is using the longhorn's harness at this point. Just so I can get the extras, door trim lights, seats, headliner speakers. So since it all plugs to the fuse box and stuff it should all work. I'm pretty much just adding a few plugs to my harness..... That's the way i'm looking at it. Also my truck is a 2011. The longhorn was a 2012. The cluster plugged right in and worked great. The 13-up use a def gauge so it's a little different.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the 09 to 12 trucks. Hopefully it will go smoothly. Definitely let us know how it all comes out.

How did you program your TIPM to work with the new trim level? My problem now is a couple lights on the cluster, no speedo, things act funny sometimes. I ordered the OBDMx and will get the Alpha tool to mess with the body control module. But is that the way to do it is the Alpha Tool?
