Looking For a Good Truck Bed Mat For My 2019 8 Ft 3500

Yesterday I placed an order for a Pace Edward's Jackrabbit Tonneau cover and I want a bed mat as well. The cover slides/ rolls back into some kind of canister, so I wonder if there will be enough room under that for a mat. I'd like the mat because I often carry a couple of steel targets to our outdoor shooting range. The truck has a spray in bed liner, but I'd like to keep it from getting scratched/ banged up.

Wondering what material/ make/ brand of mat I should look for. The Tonneau cover will protect it from the sun.

I found a nice heavy duty (3/8th inches thick) Dee Zee bed mat for my long bed 3500 at Auto Zone today for 20% off. Only $119,.. and with free shipping to boot! I jumped all over that as most places were asking around 160, and some over $200. All the reviews were great, 4.5/5. They make them with a large X pattern and also in this ribbed version, which I prefer... which simulates the pattern on the truck bed floor. My truck has the spray in bed liner but that can get dinged up--as I often carry some heavy steel targets and target stands for our outdoor shooting range.

I bought the Mopar bed mat for my truck back in 2007, used it in that truck and now my newer truck. It is tough and has held up to everything you can imagine. Plus it keeps your truck bed looking like new.

I use this one,. My truck is a 2500 short bed but they make them in different sizes. It's not a super precise fit. It's just a thick aheet of rubber that's pretty close and gets the job done. Good choice if you want cheap but effective.

That would have been OK, but Gator doesn't make one for an 8 foot bed. The Dee Zee that's coming has shipped and the pkg weighs 112 pounds. Looks like it will be robust.

Get you (2) horse mats from TSC. I’ve had a few for years and put in several trucks. Matt’s are only 6’ so you’ll need 2. Easy to cut with a razor knife. They’re about a half inch thick and heavy.

Also the Bed Rug is a pretty good deal too. Had one in my wife’s 1500.

The FedEx website showed the package weighed 112 pounds but when it got here it was half that. Strange.

The DeeZee is a great mat had one in my 2000 f350. I faithfully beat the heck out of it and still looks great. It is also 8ft so no need to get 2 mats like some other companies.
