Looking for some new exhaust.

When I got the truck the idiot has it cut off a little after the cat and it's loud but it's raggedy loud I want a loud smooth grunt. What would be the best? I've got the 4.7. I wa thinking a cat back single in dual out flow master with tips but what do you guys have and what sounds good? Money isn't that much of an issue.

I have a flowmaster 40 imitation single in dual out and its pretty smooth. Magnaflow is also pretty good from what I hear but may cost a little more. You wanting to do tips out the back or right out of the muffler?

I've had a flowmaster and now have a magnaflow. The FM was def louder but had a terrible drone on the highway. The MF is loud at wot but doesn't drone as loud on the highway. And MF is a better flowing muffler too.

Magnaflow, I saw maybe 1-1.5 mpg gain, now I'm running a 18 inch magnaflow muffler resonator delete. Sounds nice, low rumble. I'd get it again for sure

I had that same muffler and loved how it sounded. Nice mellow rumble at idle and cruising, and a deep growl if you got on it..
Ive had both flowmaster and magnaflow and id take magnaflow hands down.

I just did a ct back dyno max ultra flow single kit. It sounds great and I know from track testing my old supercharged mustang ultraflow far out performs flowmaster. I think I paid 250 for the kit and had it in the truck in a hour tops.

i really like my magnaflow. nice rumble. but if money is not a issue, here is some quality stuff.

Ended up ping cheap with just a glass pack y'd out to duals coming out the side of the bumper. Sousa pretty good actually.

Yeah. Doesn't have that good mufflered grumble but it sure does have a good idle and it screams just right when I get into it. XD
