Trading my ranger in for a full size. I test drove an F150, cause I was sold on ford. But then I decided to test drive a 2011 ram 1500 SLT and I loved it, a lot more than the ford. The truck has a few tiny rust spots starting that I can fix before they become st all serious. Other than that it seems great. The interior is absolutely immaculate. Here's the ad, tell me what you guys think. I think someone used it as a work truck prior. If it was maintained well which it looks like, then it should be fine.

Welcome to the forum! That is a great looking truck. I'd say it's worth it if it has been maintained well like you said. Also remember that alot of it "being worth it" comes down to whether or not it has everything you want/need in a truck.

I was the same way when I bought a truck. Was sold on Ford until the second I got into a Ram lol

It has the shifter in the center console which I love. This truck rode just amazingly. I don't want an f150 at all at this point lol. The truck does have some scares, someone screwed something down in the box, so there tiny screw holes. It just has its tiny things that make it a truck. Like I said though the interior is just perfect which is great.

The color is kinda different, a dark green. I think its growing on me though. It'll look great in the campgrounds!

Oh absolutely, I love that color. My old car was dark green like that. And yeah I would say if you can afford it, it sounds like a great truck to me. As long as the dents on it are just superficial and won't cause the truck to run poorly then I think they're fine. It seems like you're fine with them. They definitely ad character to the truck.

See what some of the others on here say first, I'm sure they'll be chiming in soon. But i give it a thumbs up :waytogo:

Thanks for the replies! If it fits in my budget, I'll snag it. It does have a good amount of Saskatchewan mud underneath that I'll have to clean out. I'd like to clean the engine also, any good ideas to go about thay?

Only thing I don't like is it has no fog light. I love using my ranger fog lights

FYI It mentions crew cab in the ad but it is a quad cab (smaller back seat, longer box).

And is that covered by warranty? I did mention in my original post there's some rust spots starting, very small spots that I can touch up to prevent it from carrying on

Roof was covered. I was still in my 3/36 warranty. Not sure if there is an extended warranty for paint. Check with the dealer it's worth a shot.

Would a paint warranty cover the small rust spots though ?

This truck does have a nice layer of dust under the box liner. Ill have to take it off and clean it right out. And the screw holes I can just put some anti rust paint over

Rust already? Seems kinda weird. But go on the ram site and see what the warranty is for rust and paint. I believe rust is unlimited, not sure on paint
