Ford copying Ram

I hope Ram does not copy Ford on their new V8. I just learned of a oil pump wet belt failure on a 5.0 motor. Couldn't believe it when I heard it, but apparently Ford's new 5.0 version has eliminated the chain drive.

I used to love the 5.0 engine nice smooth power, then Ford screwed it up by doing cylinder deactivation. Now I won't own one.
