My left exhuast tip came lose and started to sag, and then the right came lose too and then both tips came inches from the ground. I looked under the bed and noticed the metal bar welded to the exhaust pipe came lose from a rubber housing for it.. It was has easy as pushing the rod back into the rubber holes but now after a road trip today across Texas, they are sagging again.

Is there something else I need or should do to it to keep it from coming off again?

Maybe try flipping the rubber piece upside down. So the top hole that hold onto the truck is now holding onto the exhaust and vice versa. That's what I'd do!

If rubber hole is worn out they tend to fall out. Try flipping like xrsman said or may have to get some new rubber hangers.
