Have a 2012 1500 5.7, recently had cam installed, heads freshened up, hellcat lifters, and oil pump. Got a custom tune. Losing oil, lost over a quart in first 1k miles. Found oil leak at front crank seal and had drips at bottom of bell housing. Had new front seal put in and oil pan retightened. Still damp at bell housing but no drips, oil level is still dropping. Has a 6.4 manifold on it so can't use a catch can, no smoke, runs good, leak down was done on engine once heads were bolted back on and all tested between 86 & 91. Does anybody have any ideas. Thanks

Maybe they didn't do a decent job on valve seal guides.

Take a look at 1 of the spark plugs.

Bottom end hasn't been touched other than oil pump, timing chain, guides, gaskets. Plugs look good.

If its not leaking oil it's got to be burning it in the combustion chamber......no other place for it to go except the coolant system.

When you return the heads to new condition and don't do the piston rings, guess what happens?
The old oil rings can't hold the new pressure so oil gets past.
Had this with a 68 Chevelle decades ago, blew a quart past the rings in the first 25 miles.
Expensive lesson learned in my youth.
