Wife is resting so I snuck out and added a new decal to the intake. I am trying to keep with the 60s theme, the problem I ran into was the old flag decals used on the carburetor tops are way to big for my LS intake. I found 1 shop that had something that I could make work.

Nice Nickey sticker. The guy that owns Nickey currently used to own my 1970 Olds W31. I sold it in about 1991 and he bought it some time later. Around 2013 he called me as he was trying to track down all previous owners. It's now called Nickey Chicago and his name is Stephano Bimbi. I talked to him about 6 months ago and he said he had sold my car...ugh

That is awesome! I built my 67 Camaro around a car that my father desperately tried to buy in the 80s. It was a real deal one, but he didn't have any documentation, but my dad being an avid 1st gen guy knew it was the real deal, but his price was too high for no documentation. I have always liked the way they looked vs Yenko or Motion cars.

Yeah Not sure what their 'specialty' is now but did see some videos of them building Camaros. Not sure if they are continuing the Nickey legacy or if these were customer cars. Just wish I had my W31 back...lol. Of all the cars I have owned that is the one I wish I had kept. Have a 2005 Roush Mustang now.

I haven't really seen any of the old big names do anything since the 5th gens came back out. Nickey has a site, but minus just some clothing, you can't order anything which was a let down. That W31 I would want back as well. Its like my 67 RS/SS car. It had every option available in 67 except disc brakes. It was also a early Van Nuys car so even more rare there. Its like what was I thinking... Now I have this 02 Z car and not a 67 lol. Oh well one day I will have another 67.

If your old 67 was originally a Texas sold car,it probably didn't have the rear liquid tire chain / anti-ice option.
My old 68 had it.

That is interesting. I guess it would be like the cold weather package we have now.

It was good for doing smokey burn-outs in the summer,up till the can went empty, and that was about it,lol. When i redid the body and added an electric frenched in rear antenna,i pulled it all out,to fit the antenna's electric drive . I threw it all away, and 40 some years later kick my rear for not keeping it,as it's worth money now,lol

Here are the ones that I still have of my 67. I had about 18 months of resto. I lucked out the car had no floor rust and only needed some very small patch panels on the quarters. It had all of its original sheet metal. I was almost ready to paint it when the black mustang coupe Im about to post pictures of came back up for sale. That car and I had some bad women history. Not sure why I bought it again.

Here are a few of the foxes I had over the years. Yes that is me circa late 90s. All 4 of my fox bodies were super fast cars. Then a bonus I saw my old Elky at Good guys last year. Guy had yanked the 454 TH400 out and slapped a LS motor in it with 60E transmission.

We had a 68 that had that option. I always found it interesting some of the options they had in the 60s.

The old El Camino if it was a factory 454 car, would be worth more with it's original drivetrain, lol. That's a beautiful car. My BIL had a 68 with a smallblock when i first met my wife back in the mid 80's,drank a fair bit of beer in it as a kid,lol

Time capsule?? I guess you must be gen Z and made me feel old. You want a REAL Camaro time capsule, then get a 1968 SS or a 1970 split bumper.

Ill pass on those. I prefer the 67s. There is just something about cruising with the vent glass open.

Well the wife went back to work today. We are still waiting to see if she will need surgery, but since we had a off day, I yanked the old molding off the the side. It was in better shape then a lot of the ones out there, but it looks a ton better. I had to go to the Dodge dealership to order parts for a recall on the wifes Jeep, so my son and I cruised during totality. It was really cool. Still looking for Dark star front runners. Hopefully the swap meet this Saturday lands me some. I am so ready to get rid of those C7 wheels.
