I don’t really know how to explain this but I’ll try my best!

I have a 2012 ram 1500 with 151k miles on it atm. When I start it up and take off everything is fine and normal and then while I’m cruising down the road I’ll let off the gas to kind of slow down and engine brake whenever a car pulls out or what not and then I go to get back on the gas and I’ll get a low pitched noise from the exhaust and a slight little shake feel when I go to accelerate again but then if I just kinda floor it or step on the gas hard it doesn’t happen… idk if it’s normal or because I have a flow master pipe so it’s louder.. this is my first truck and I’ve only had it about 2 weeks now

Maybe the MDS, heard aftermarket exhaust and MDS don’t like each other.

I agree with Busch ,most likely cylinder deactivation. It’s really noticeable with an aftermarket exhaust. If you manually shift it to high gear it should stop , also with tow / haul on it won’t activate.
