Hey so basically I had to take off my borgeson steering shaft because it would get loose the second I hit any of the bad roads around here completely awful design if you ask me. Anyway when I took my old steering shaft off a friend bought it so I had to replace the whole thing.

Now my question is what is the part # for the lower pinch bolt that connects the steering shaft to the steering box? The one listed on the diagrams is 06506950AA and those fit for the upper and middle but is a little too big for the lower. I called the dodge dealership and they said that was what their computer said as well however there was a side note that said it could be 06507862AA however it is discontinued and the specs on it were M8 x 1.25 x 33 I'm just making sure that is correct before I order that size bolt?

Here is the part # 55351456AF of the lower intermediate shaft that I got if that helps. It seems odd they would discontinue that bolt especially considering that they tell you to replace it every time it's loosened in the service manual.

Thanks a bunch for any help my trucks been down for a week because of this stupid bolt haha Oh also I have a 07.5 6.7L 4x4

Yeah bolt doesn't fit. Does anyone know the lower intermediate shaft to steering box pinch bolt size or part #?
