Just a note: tractor supply and trailer stores carry the axle perches for the DIY trailer builders.

4/6 on your 4x4? How's the ride in the front? Gotta be close to bottoming out? Nice but I'm guessing the rides pretty bouncy. I have yet to do mine but I'm gonna hate it if I'm bottoming the front down the hwy.

@Shostopper, the truck you're talking about, is that white Gen 3 a 4x4? If it TRUELY is then that would be. Perfect 4/6 drop. I was wondering if you measured the truck before n after reason being is that in the Gen 3 4x4 like mine where the front coils sit in the cup on top is actually welded lower on the frame then the 2 wheel drive rams to be higher so with an actual 4/6 drop I would think it would be less then 4".

Hopefully I can get mine to sit like yours.

4" is 4". That being said you are correct about the Coil cup placement. The truck will still sit higher than a 2WD but would drop 4 inches anyhow. The one thing to be careful about is the front Axles.

I am looking at lowering my 4x4 a little. It is pretty leveled up already so 2" front and back would do it for me. However my budget is limited so not sure of my options, as I don't want to have to invest 1000$ to achieve this.

Just got an email from Mccgaughys...

"Unfortunately neither kit will work on the 4wd models only the 2wd models"

This was a response to the question asking which kit for the 06-08 rams works for 4wd. I thought one of them did, that being the spindle kit.
