lowering for the 2014 ram 1500

Hey all, want to discuss lowering the newest generation 1500. I have a 4by4 quad cab and want to lower it about 2/4. Seems like it would be easy to just change out springs, but from reading, it sounds like there is really more to it to get it setup right so you don't have issues. I figure lowering the 2014 will be very similar to lowering earlier models but I'd like to get a comprehensive thread going here to inform those of us who want to lower a 2014 model on how to do it. So to start off, recommendations anybody?

So, I've got a 4by4, I use it for residential construction work, live in minnesota and wanted 4 wheel drive mainly for the winters here. But I love the lowered look. Once I lower it I will also install the arilift bags so I can still carry weight and pull a trailer. any one else use their truck full time for work but have it lowered?
