2014 RAM 1500 LARAMIE - need your help, my harman just died

if my radio wont rise from the dead, i hesitate between :
- buying infotainment replacement (2000$)
- going for android replacement on amazon (300~1000$) but i dont know which one to buy, so many different choices...
- trying to find a used ram radio locally (found a 2019 radio for ~500$), not sure it is compatible though

i want to have some carplay if possible, but i need my reserve camera to work and my clim options.
and if possible, i dont want to pay thousand of dollars for it.

For a 14 you need to update several other items inside the truck such as media hub etc for everything to work .

Your best and most economical is buy the 15 model year radio and unlock it.

This solves the problem the fastest most simple way.

If you were not in the middle of nowhere and had any support it might be different but your not.

My recommendation. And I own a 14 model year truck, and I've looked into adding a different year radio with car play,

it just not worth the hassle.

just a little update.
my issue is now solved, a friend of mine bought a refurbished alim card for my harman.
it works again like a charm now.
