Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 2016 2500 Laramie Longhorn 6.7 Diesel. The window sticker sheet I have does not show anti-slip rear differential. Axle type listed is 3.42 on rear.

Did some searching but, could not find what axels are on the front and rear. Anyone know

Second what are some of the LSD options? Does anyone know if an Eaton makes a Truetac that works with my axles?

Cheers

That is a great starting point. Is the AAM locker what Dodge puts in the truck if you select their "anti-spin" option?

Yes. You can look it up on AAM’s website, although they are sparse with the details. But they work very well. Had it in my previous 3500. With 35’s it would spin a tire on asphalt, when the other side was on dirt or grass. That’s pretty good torque bias.

Nothing wrong with a TrueTrac either. I’ve never researched to see if they have a fit for the AAM axle.

True Trac is a limited slip. Same as factory LSD. If you want a TRUE locker, go with the original Detroit locker for the rear, and E locker for the front.
