Perfect size perfect tire - glad it worked out! I think you will love them

The level will not change that - did you order the Thuren front sway bar? That will eliminate it - Also, once you get it aligned to Thuren specs it should minimize, but not eliminate the rub on the factory sway bar (he specifically designed the active rate front sway for clearance with stock wheels and larger tires)

EDIT: I read last page, you do have the sway bar from Thuren coming so you won't worry about rubbing there after that :)

Do you have any rub marks on the radius arms? If you don't, that is great news, like I said its just a hair of a touch at full lock but shouldn't be anything you feel, or hear really - and if you have the front sway coming from Thuren that will eliminate it that rub point.

They look phenomenal! If you have no rub on the radius arm that is perfect (and a touch is ok too, I have it)

Hope you love them! I have 3.42 gears so I was hesitant to go up another 1/2" in height but with the 3.73's on the 4.5/5th gen HD its a no brainer!

Just wait till you get the level and Thuren goodies on it will feel like a whole new truck! Have you reprogrammed tire size with AlfaOBD yet?

Thanks man. Yeah everyone says these newer gen Cummins trucks are totally fine to go 35’s and even 37’s

As far as programming, no I have not! I am kind of afraid to mess with the programming but it would definitely be best to get it done. I also have an S&B 52 gal tank and it would be great to have the DTE adjusted as well, if that’s possible.

Its all the gearing - personally I know most in 4th gens go bigger than 35" which 3.42's but I wouldn't, and I don't even tow anything - if towing its a bigger deal -

You definitely do need to get the speedo reprogrammed (honestly even the dealer would probably do it for you on a new truck) because you are about 2ish mph off at 70mph now if not a touch more

AlfaOBD is a painless process to do it but if you don't have it or have a friend who has Alfa (East Coast is broad but I'm in central NC) I don't know about the 52 gallon tank reprogramming for the DTE but I'm sure it can be done

It also will adjust the shift points properly once the speedo is recalibrated for the new tires so it will shift better too once you have it done, and your GPS will be spot on

Thank you very much. I’ll ask the shop on Monday since they do all sorts of builds on diesel trucks.

I did mine myself but if your shop can't do it, when I had to get my Uconnect replaced under warranty (delaminating screen was rampant on 2018's) they redid the tire size calibration for me there it didn't take them long

Quick update

Snapped some pics today after the shop installed the parts. Getting an alignment done tomorrow morning and then I can really review it so it’s still at the shop but I had to get some pics for the forums. I drove it about a 1/4 mile down the street.
Suprisingly, I could absolutely feel the difference in the ride quality. It felt more like a 1500/SUV. Very noticeable right away. Also I didn’t notice any rubbing at all. But it’s hard to truly give feedback without really driving it.

I will update with better pics and a true review once it’s 100% complete and I get more time behind the wheel.

Parts:
-Thuren 2” level kit (Thuren front springs) with Fox 2.0 shocks with reservoirs front and non-reservoir Fox rears (factory rear springs)
-Thuren track bar
-Thuren sway bar
-CJC intercooler guard and factory lower valance delete

Some new pics including a before and after.
Drove it a bit today. There is a substantial difference overall in the way it drives. Much smoother and compliant over bumps. Much more like a 1500. I’m so glad I did this.
Also there is now 0 rub. And the looks are exactly what I wanted.

I highly recommend these Thuren/Fox parts.

:)

So glad to hear it I told you Thuren suspension is on point, now you have zero rub with the sway bar it makes me happy - make sure they align to Thuren specs!

Doing it all at once like you did really dramatically improves the before and after- like I said the only other item you may REALLY appreciate and can really feel a difference just by installing it, is Thuren's rear track bar- but other than that, tire size, and suspension is perfect and so glad you are happy with it -

Absolutely brother, you nailed it with the recommendation!

With stock suspension I was getting some rub, but it was ok because it still drove great and looked much better. But man, with this new suspension it’s literally perfect. I can’t believe the difference. Crazy because I read/watched some reviews that said they couldn’t feel the difference around town and what not. To me, it’s very substantial. And I still haven’t been off road or loaded up yet since getting it. Only unloaded highway/town miles so far and it exceeded expectations.
Plus I’m getting compliments on it everywhere I go now. I think it looks just right now without going overkill. It’s more of that Power Wagon OEM-esque stance that I wanted. I couldn’t be happier.
I think I’m done with mods as it is now doing everything I wanted. Though never say never lol.
