I've read re

Sorry OP if I'm hijacking your thread. I've read these cutouts start leaking or do not close all the way after awhile. Have you had any issues? In Michigan we salt in winter and are basically a swamp the rest of the year. I'm wondering how they'd hold up to salt and water. Constant replacement or greasing necessary?

That could definitely be a concern, I'm not sure how they would hold up to the elements as my 66 Buick I have them on barely ever see's rain, let alone anything else. I replaced the motors on them about 13 years in, but haven't really had to touch the cut outs. Again though, that's under ideal conditions, garage stored when not in use and never used in the snow or rain.

I went with a cutout. Glad I did. Sound great and being able to close it going through a drive thru or something is great. Was cheaper than my other options as well

Lube it up twice a year . You'll find negative comments about anything , cut outs are easy to install or remove , rather than wrong choice of exhaust system .

I have the same exhaust and had left the resonators and was wanting it to be louder to so I had them taken off and now it’s perfect so If you still have the resonators get rid of them and you will probably be happy with the way it sounds

I recently got the FlowMaster exhaust system onto my 15 ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. I like the aggressive sound I just want it louder and mean. Any suggestions?? Thanks :)

Which one did you get? I got the Flowmaster Outlaw (2019 RAM 1500) and it is SWEET. Nice and loud/aggressive!

Yeah you're going to need to do something up front with the flow restrictive factory log manifolds/converters to sing with the big horns.

I have a cutout and love the sound. My only complaint is the difference in sound from a cold to hot engine. Sounds like a motorcycle letting off the clutch when it's cold. I also have a bolt on plate just in case the motor fails.

yeah resonator delete will definitely improve sound but you may not be as happy with sound inside the cab. Exhause tips will NOT make any difference. I have found that Flowmaster 50 is plenty aggressive. The Flowmaster 70 sounds nice and deep but doesn't growl as aggressively as the 50.

For anyone looking for cutouts we offer QTP, check out the kit that is made specifically for the RAM!
http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/520009/

I have a few of these in stock. Message me for a quote

I’ve always liked the idea of doing the QTP or another cutout and using their wireless remote kit. Reason being is my Rebel has homelink buttons and I could program the 3rd button to the exhaust cutout.... maybe one day. For now I got other things allocated to some money.

Here's what ARH long tube headers, no cats, true duals with only 14" mufflers, and x-pipe and longer than stock tips sounds like

I think mine may still be a tad louder cant wait to get my headers [emoji16]

CARVEN Competitor bolt on exhaust is loud and sounds the best on these trucks. Pair it with a Vararam Intake. Contact Moe's performance. His prices are the best and its quick shipping.
