Manually Dim dash lights when headlights on

Good day,
hoping someone can help
Have 2018 Ram 150 with Uconnect 8.4
The dash lights at night are too bright on AUTO
When I use settings, and change to manual, I can change the dashboard brightness for daytime running,
but the option to manually adjust "dim lights when headlights are on" is not available
(the actual option is dimmed out)
Can anyone suggest what I may possibly be doing wrong?

Is there a thumbwheel under the knob that turns on the headlights? I discovered mine by accident. There was absolutely no dealer education when I bought my Ram. But sometimes that is a good thing.

my 2018 laramie has a thumbwheel under the knob that controls the lights. It will change dash lights from all the way off to when the overhead lights come on and stay on

Rotate the knob under the headlight switch 2 notches to the left of max(interior lights on).

Mine did something strange today lights all went dim in perfect sunlight and also the tire warning came up one low tire at 24 lbs but went back to normal after a few miles
Also i need help i don't know how to start a post ?
