max cooling standard vs reverse fan clutch

How can I tell if a 2001 ram 2500 with a 5.9 has max cooling? more specifically, I need a new fan clutch and the options are standard vs reverse rotation. The reverse rotation seems to go with Max cooling. Is there anything specific I can look at on the old unit to tell?

I realize with the serpentine belt and pulley system they only spin one way. I just needed any info on what 'standard' vs 'reverse' rotation was for the clutch. For SKP brand there are 2 distinct part numbers. most others brands seem to list only 'reverse' or counterclockwise as their only option. So I guess I'll have to assume that is the normal option.
