I’m kind of tempted to get a set of wheel spacers but I’m wondering what the maximum thickness one could go with for a spacer that slips over the studs? I did this with the Silverado I had but I’m not entirely sure for one of our trucks. I have a 2018 power wagon.

Is there a reason you're wanting to go with spacers instead of new rims with a different offset? You've got a PW so I don't think you're concerned about reducing your weight carrying abilities, but spacers DO have a negative effect on that.

That said, I believe people have run 1/4" spacers with no real issues.

There are good and bad with spacers. I would suggest what was said above, do it right and change rims. You have more options that way and eliminate the negative that comes with spacers: such as the metal "fusing" to rim or hub, poor quality causing a catastrophic tire event, and you are more sure of your load capabilities, for example. Good luck.

I'm not a fan of that style spacers, but one thought would be to buy an open lug nut (so you can see the end of the stud) and see what the stud stick out length is with the spacer. Generally you want the end of the stud at least flush with the end of the lug nut, if not slightly protruding, to make sure you have proper engagement. Those slip on style spacers also need to be very snug on the studs or centered on the wheel hub otherwise they will have the same affect as a badly out of balance tire.
