Hi, is there a plug into the diagnostic port a module to deactivate mds for 2019 ram classic 1500 without having to use the up and down gear selector buttons?

Spend 16 minutes and watch this video, you might change your mind. You need an unlocked PCM / bypass cable, and tune to disable it.While you're at,you'll also want a non-mds cam / 8 non-mds lifters and Ma Mopars mds block off plugs for a 6 speed 5.7 or 6.4 Challenger to properly disable the mds.

He's got a 2019 "Classic". Were those PCM's locked starting in 2019? I know the 5th Gens are........
Chrysler started locking the PCMs in everything starting in 2015,starting in 2018 you need the Smart Access cable on top of an unlocked pcm .

could a Ram owner keep their speed above 75 MPH / 120.701 KPH ?
to keep the MDS from engaging ?

Of course, in Canada an owner may have to have a Traffic Court Judge on the payroll :)
You can simply gear down manually (on the steering wheel), then run it back up to top gear to disable it.

The OP was asking if there were an other simpler alternative to what you suggest and that the OP was already performing the "manually selecting the gear -/+" on the steering wheel ...

Depending on what road you're on GT. Some of the secondary highways have a 80kmh/50 mph speed limit, and 120 clics/75 mph will get you tagged :Big Laugh: The QE2 between Calgary and Edmonton is 110kmh's,and i've been on that road with the cruise set at 156 kmh's (that's where the cruise tops out on most Chryco vehicles, lol),and drove by the cops sitting off to the side with no issues during daylight hours, after dark,it's another story though, then you definitely want to slow down:waytogo:

The few times that i have driven into Canada, i was up in the Ontario, Canada area.
I was driving my last 2009 Ram 1500 w/ the HEMI
Mostly around Toronto, but i went on up to Sudbury for a weekend, that was the first time that i ever had 3 things that i have never had before that trip.
JELLO SHOOTERS, & Black Flies with fantastic Canadian Steak without GMOs.

I felt like i was driving around that area at a Crawl

The video was very interesting and he made several good points.
Everybodies favorite Uncle Tony has a couple video's that are also worth watching. The 2nd one is the better of the 2,but both are worth watching.

This is the one that's really worth watching.

When I owned my HEMI powered RAM(s), I got into the habit of manually disengaging it now and then ... overall just leaving it alone letting it "do what it's supposed to do" by letting the "oil sending units" feed oil to an engine that is already compromised by worsened oil splash and lowered idle rpm ... it's really sad that the design flaw, moving the cam farther up in the block to allow for the VVT bs, that it did little to nothing for fuel economy, let alone going to a thinner recommended oil for the sake of some EPA bean counters that led to a lot folks having lifter/cam failure ...

The lifter oiling issue is why I leave the stop/start system activated on my truck to minimize idling time and live with it. I’ve also got 5W-30 oil in it to in some hope that boosts oil pressure at idle a bit. Some good, thought-provoking videos. Thanks.
