I have installed the non MSD lifters....will it be okay to leave the solenoids there and just not hook them up or tune them out? Truck seems to run okay with them hooked up but haven't gotten to drive very far after rebuild.

I would imagine you need to tune it out or it’ll probably start throwing codes. Or remember to shut it off every time you drive so it doesn’t call for it

You have to tune MDS out or shut it off, The solenoids are fine if you don't wanna pull them, since you already replaced the lifters they won't have any effect on anything. If you don't tune out or turn it off what you'll find (if they're still hooked up to the harness) is that eventually the PCM will try to kick it into MDS mode and since it can't it'll throw a light.
