The release buttons are hard to get at, but they are there. One of the first things I did was remove that on my Megacab truck so I could see to back my trailer into its building.

Any hints where they are? I went from travel trailer to fifth wheel, and I have to put the seat down to hitch up by myself now(don’t have the CHMSL)
The 8yr old is always in the middle, and he’s nowhere near needing a headrest yet.

Just checked. The button on the drivers side post is very obvious, I'm sure you found that one. One the passenger side post, the button is different. It's kind of flush with the plastic bushing. You have to push lower on it to get it to go. Kind of dig your finger into the seat material and push on it. It is on the inboard side, same as the drivers side.

Good luck!
