I am installing a new Melling 10452 pump tomorrow in my warmed up ‘12 5.7. I am not sure whether or not to swap out to the lower pressure spring. This engine will never turn more than 6500 rpm. The truck will get a tune after I’m done. Goodies installed are Comp cams NSR HRT .520” lift, new Comp cams Valve springs, MDS delete, Phaser limiter, Johnson lifters, Cloyes timing chain.

Does the 10 psi. Per 1000 rpm rule apply? If so is the 75 psi spring a good idea?
Thanks!
