I tend to haul a lot of top soil, rocks etc in the bed of my trucks. I have been using this product for years now. It covers the gap between the bed and the tail gate. It is called Rok Block. No more rocks and dirt in the tail gate or clogging up the gap. IMG_7788.JPGIMG_7789.JPG

Later this year, when things warm up a bit, I might be looking at this. I always have a broom, at least, when I have a bed full of loose 'stuff', and it's never been an issue yet, but this looks pretty handy. ;)

I have weather stipping on mine, mainlt to keep the dust , water out when I was still hauling stuff to shows, works fine, but not really the same as when you open the t.g. that would not stop the crap from getting in the space. That would work very well to keep the road dirt out.
I do notice that when its -20 or 30, if I open the tail gate , I have a problem getting it to latch again as all the rubber is too f'''''' cold.
